Having been made redundant in 2000, after twenty-five years as a Primary School Teacher in Lancashire, U.K. I now live in France. During my teaching career, I was seconded for seven years, to write and run training courses in Microsoft Software, plus education-specific software. I also offered my services, in the early days of Microsoft, to Headteachers; specifically to tranfer their school's Prospectus into Word. I also worked briefly with Kosovan refugees, encouraging the children to relate their terrible experiences via their own individual PowerPoint slide shows. Here in France, I founded 'The Granny Network' in 2002. 'The Granny Network' was a group of like-minded people (not necessarily Grannies - one was a man!) scattered all over France, helping clients to find and buy properties in this lovely country. I have taught English, not only in local French schools, but also at the Chamber of Commerce, where I ran courses for adults. Recently 'freelancing' and have had 4 assignments in the past 3 weeks, but am always looking for more. These included, transcription, Powerpoint, and 2 educational tasks.
