SciSoft Consulting - Scientific Programming Fernando Cacciola - CEO and Founder I've been a professional software developer since 1991. Ever since I've been primarily in charge of the architecture, design, and implementation of application frameworks for numerical, scientific or media related applications. I've specialized in 2D and 3D Geometric Computing, 2D and 3D Computer Graphics (including Computer Generated Imagery, CGI, for animation films and special effects) and Image Processing, with a special focus on applications for Embroidery Design, Vector Drawing and Logo-style Image Manipulation. I've programmed in languages as varied as 6809E assembler, C, Delphi, Python or Ruby, and many more. I specialize in C++, C++/CLI and C#. I've developed in Linux (using the GNU toolchain) or Windows (since Windows 3.1), using from Turbo C 1.0 to Borland C++ to Visual Studio 2010. I am a contributor to the 'C++ Boost libraries', to the 'Computational Geometry Algorithms Library' (CGAL), and I've participated thousands of times in technical discussions on public forums. In 2003 I founded SciSoft and hired a team of complementary industry veterans, extending our competency to Medical Imaging, Computational Finance, Media-based online applications and SaaS framework development.
