Having consistently freelanced for so long, I have worked on thousands of briefs with dozens of agencies for more clients than I can possibly fit on one piece of A4. The briefs, wide and varied that they have been, never stray too far from the basic principle of creating engaging design – so while my role as a designer hasn’t changed much in 18 years my experience has grown exponentially. Working in many creative artwork roles, in the distant past, has enabled my software and production skills to become, and stay, razor sharp. Swiftly creating a design, from an initial scamp, allows more time to develop an idea further and present multiple options... and who doesn’t like more options!?
