James Curtis is a published author of chapbooks including A Lng Line Of Short Disappointments, Quarter Century Crisis and Storm And Other Poems with Dusty Owl Press as well as a prolific musician who regularly releases music online. A selection of his online materials include: The Butch Mary Chronicles: A loving and for the most part laughing critique of gay bear culture in a fictional blog by Brian “Butch” Mary. Bit Literate: An examination of video games as cultural literature. Chub Minus The H: A blog used for charting weight loss progress (currently inactive). Music Gives Me Superpowers: Music reviews in the context of superhero stories revolving around the character Disc. He has been published in The Resin, The Charlatan, Community Link Fresno, To Be and The Dusty Owl Quarterly. As a recording artist, S. James Curtis has self produced his work including spoken word, ambient instrumentals and blistering hard rock. He has done remix work for Susan Get Down and Gagner and is quite keen on doing more. He currently lives in London and is ready to work with you.
