Slushpopcorn

I am a graphic designer and artist with more than 20 years experience in the field, the last 15 of which have been with national newspapers in the UK. I have an in-depth knowledge of Mac-based publishing software, which I have been using for around 20 years, including Quark Xpress and the Adobe Creative Suite. My experience in newspapers means that I have a keen eye for detail and can work on many projects simultaneously to the tightest of deadlines. My specialty for the last 15 years has been in information graphics, particularly maps, charts and technical illustrations. I am also a skilled Photoshop user, with a particular interest in photomontage and illustration as well as retouching. As a native speaker, I have excellent English language skills and have experience in copy writing, editing and proof-reading. My other skills include the design and copywriting of advertisements for press and websites.
