I enjoy writing reusable code for scalable applications to communicate with clients through APIs, web sockets, and IoT. Being the main point of contact for development decisions, I’ve had the opportunity to take my skills of programming to the next level. I was also part of the migrations process moving millions of records from legacy platform to a new one designed from the ground up. While the migration was a long drawn out process, we also have to keep new, and old data in sync with the native platform. This is was carefully designed to work with the new platform by keeping the logic dynamic as possible, while still being able to bridge the gap between legacy data. Being a software engineer/developer, I’ve also had the opporunity of using many other languages, platforms, frameworks, databases, etc... Those other languages consisted of C#, PHP, MongoDB, Angular, SQL, MVC frameworks, and some administrative work like IIS, deploys, and modrewrites. I’m a huge advocate for writing good code vs. quick and dirty code.
