Rational Rose Implementation Process Following process shall be followed during the life cycle of the project for development and implementation of our solution. § Requirement Analysis. § Software Development § Testing Phase § Implementation § Acceptance Testing § Support Phase Requirement Analysis Software team shall interrelate in details with the client employees to takeover the requirements accurately. Based on these requirements, we shall build a prototype. We shall conduct demonstration of the prototype. Here, the users from the client shall be involved. Based on the demo, additional / modified requirements with reference to the functionality defined in the Requirement Document will be finalized. Thus, the final Requirement Specification will be prepared by Solomon Software and the same shall be signed-off by client. Software Development Solomon Software shall follow the software development processes to build the modules according to the Requirement Specification. Testing Phase Testing is the phase to validate the development with respect to the Requirement Specifications. We follow the method of documented testing. The test cases are prepared before the testing and testing is conducted to validate the scenario of test cases. The test results are documented. If any correction/bug fixing is needed the same is completed and is documented. Implementation Customer has to make the computer (client, server and appropriate network) systems and the required environment ready for implementation. Customer shall also identify the users who would be involved in implementation. During implementation, the modules shall be deployed at the server. User Training Training phase will be conducted after the Testing Phase & the Implementation of the software at customer premises. Affinity Software shall prepare the training calendar for the users, in consultation with the coordinator from the customer. For the project in consideration, we estimate a maximum six days of training for the users. We request the customer to make the list of participants and also make them available for training on the days planned. Acceptance Tests § The fully tested modules shall be implemented at the server. § Affinity shall prepare a systematic document to conduct function wise testing. § The tests shall be performed using this document and the users shall be involved in the acceptance tests. § The users shall sign off the Acceptance Test document as part of approval. § Any bugs found during the tests shall be recorded and Affinity Software shall fix the same. The tests shall be repeated for acceptance. Support Phase for Quality Assurance Module • Affinity Software shall provide support to the users for a period of three months from the date of implementation. • During this phase any bugs found shall be fixed. The tests shall be repeated to prove the correctness of the programs. • During the Support Phase, we shall also provide the necessary clarifications and additional hand-holding to the users. • The MIS Reports that are required by the management shall be configured during this phase.
