This section of my portfolio will showcase both a selection from a series of comic strips done for a newspaper which I have entitled Tony Bananadetto: The Cool Guy Banana, as well as two illustrations I created for the Hans Christian Anderson classic; The Little Mermaid.

My name is Stephen Saliba, an artist living in both Northern New Jersey and New York City. Though I try to focus more on painting, I often illustrate for newspapers, doing both editorial work and comic strips. In my paintings, I like to experiment with different techniques and styles, which allows my work to be extremely diverse, ranging from realistic to extremely abstract.
