I was hired by a CMS web designer named Harry Adams (http://www.cms-wales.co.uk/) to create something that resembled the Idea of an @ symbol wrapped in something. I thought that The arrows represented the Idea quite well as they could mean "Download and Upload" "Back and Forth". Its really down to the individual to perceive it as they want.
