Dear freelancer,
finally we found a beautiful site with an old pigsty in Spain and we're planning to open a small hotel there (up to 12 rooms).
We can not wait to get at least a rough idea of our hotel and its design, even though we're still waiting for the approval.
The "perfect freelancer" for this project should love nature and show it in his work.
As you can see on the photos the property is located in the mountains and is surrounded by beautiful nature and wonderful olive trees. It’s important that the building fits into the surrounding.
We're interested in someone who has a little knowledge about ecological design and who is creative.
It's important to us not to destroy this building but to renovate it in the best possible way.
The biggest building is 80 meters long and about 7 meters wide, this should be the main building with most of the rooms and maybe the reception. We imagined that all rooms, which will be about 50 m² large, are on the ground floor and we would like to extend the roof to a roof top terrace but at the moment we do not have any good ideas how to make the ascent to the roof terrace. There are also other smaller buildings e.g. for the restaurant.
The design should be sustainable, ecological and special. We do not need a very detailed plan right now, it's just about having an idea and an imagination. We can talk about the more detailed jobs later when we have the approval.
A freelancer who could do the exterior, interior and the landscape design would be perfect.

  Hi, The area of the property is about 5500 m2. It's about 90 m long and 60 m wide. the property is located in Aldover in Spain. The coordinates are 40°51'56.8"N 0°28'19.5"E . It's located in the subtropical/mediterranean zone, the lowest temperature is about 7 degrees, the highest may be up to 40 degrees. The percipitation is about 430 mm.Here's some information about local climate: https://www.besttravelmonths.com/spain/aldover-3537603/ The soil is permeable, stony and quite nutrient-poor. Here's a very detailed presentation about the soil in our area, maybe the pictures can help you. It's located in the mountains and it's surrounded by olive groves and orange groves. The property is sloping towards north side.

Hi sir, there is one suggestion, being an environmentalist architect do not mingle the modern architecture with the ecology of the site. The reference files are all depiction of modern architecture. However, We must respect the biology, architecture, climatology and the environmental impacts of it, in order to obtain the "Ecological design". Interestingly, I am looking forward to the projects.   Hello, thank you for the comment and your feedback. Our main preference is still an ecological design which respects the environment, biology and climatology. Unfortunately it was very difficult finding inspirations which meet all of our expectations, so the reference files show not exactly the design we like but they may give an imagination of the style, materials and colours we like. You do not have to pay attention to the references, we thought they might be helpful for some participants. We think that there are many possibilities to integrate ecological elements into all kinds of buildings. We have many ideas how to build an eco-friendly house, but unfortunately we have no ideas for the aesthetic aspects. Especially because the main building is an 80-meter one-story building and we're afraid it might look boring. We're looking for inspirations from We are looking for inspiration from people who are familiar with architectural design. We look forward to your entry.

  Hello, thank you for your interest in our project. The hotel should have from 10 up to 15 rooms and they should be on the ground floor. We're not planning to build additional floors at the moment, but we would like to build a roof top terrace for each room. Of course you can remove one building, except the largest one. We're open for your suggestions :)

  Hi, thank you. We look forward to it. We added some pictures of designs we like. It's important to us, that the hotel rooms have large (maybe mirrored) windows with patio doors, so the guests can enjoy the view of the mountains. It would be comfortable if there's also a door on the site of the street, so the guests can leave their car there and enter the room without walking through the reception or arround the whole building. We like white houses, but not the ones which look to modern/ fancy, it should be cozy.
