Contest:

To design four banner images to advertise http://www.freethedice.com, using the following resolutions:
- 728w * 90h
- 350w * 300h
- 300 * 300 (this can be a reshaped version of above)
- 250 * 250 (can be resized version of above)

As you can see, there are really only two different designs as the last three will all be very similar.

I would like the final piece to be submitted in PNG format for those four resolutions.

- It is not necessary to copy the images used on the website, although you may do so if you wish.
- You may submit banners with or without a call-to-action.
- All banners must have the website address.

Background:

http://www.freethedice.com is a small community website that has one online game, yahtzee. Yahtzee is a very famous dice game dating back to the 1970s that has a cult following, mostly among families as a play-at-home game. Since the community started in 2006, we seemed to have quite a friendly, very small-knit community so the games are as much about chatting and getting to know each other as they are about winning games.

There are a few different rule sets to yahtzee. On our site we have the regular game, triple yahtzee, painted yahtzee and many customised rule sets.

Over the last couple of years we have not really done any marketing so our numbers are down a bit. We want to advertise the site and need some banners that show people what the site does and try to get them in to play.

For your design, you may use any of this information, make your own text or use any of the images on the website. If you refresh the homepage, you'll get a different dice image. I made these myself so I own the copyright on those and you of course therefore have permission to use them in your work for this project.

I want to thank everybody for entering this contest. There was some really good artwork here, which made it a really tough choice. Some really represented the website, others used really exciting colours and had a nice layout. Tough choice!
