Design Brief:
We need a new logo for an elderly people’s care home in England. The care home is called ‘The Limes Care Home’ and the name needs to be included.
The logo will be used for signage, a website, brochures, stationery etc.
Creative Direction:
We would ideally like a logo that incorporates a lime tree (or perhaps its leaf or its flowers etc.) but we are also open to other appropriate designs that don’t have the tree element. Please note that we mean the British deciduous tree which does not bear lime fruit so we do not want a lime fruit to be used in the design. We are open to any appropriate choice of colour(s).
About the Care Home / Company:
The Limes is a warm, kind, loving, welcoming home as well as being a professional, organised establishment with efficient and friendly staff. It is a home from home; not a clinical, cold place.
As well as caring for all of the varied physical and social needs of its inhabitants, they particularly specialise in caring for people with dementia.
Target Market / Demographic:
Our target markets are male and female elderly people and their families who are looking for a happy, warm, secure, fun, positive environment for their loved ones where they can be fully supported in their twilight years.
Format:
The winner will need to provide the logo design as a ‘vector graphic’ (.ai, .svg or .eps file).

We have been rating the entries to our own taste and to what fits the brief best but our client will make the final choice after the contest closes.
