Woodcraft Memories hand craft wooden pens, boxes and other things. We believe that our consumer culture removes the value of most things. Everything becomes obsolete so quickly that nothing has time to become really meaningful. We believe this is sad, and want to help people create memories, relive good times, and just slow down and appreciate the little things.

If you go on a picnic date with your girlfriend why not send us some wood you picked up and we'll make it into a pen for you to always remember that special moment.

Celebrate graduation with a fountain pen featuring the wood from your child's cradle.

Remember your grandparents every time you sit down at your desk with a pen made from a branch in their yard.

We need a logo that captures our philosophy. I'm not visually imaginative so I can't help with designs until I see them, so you don't have much to work on other than a feeling I'm sorry.I love the old woodcut designs from old books, but go with what you see from what I've said.

This is my relaxation hobby, sorry I can't offer more remuneration for your efforts. As soon as there is a design or two I can see myself using I'll guarantee payment. In the past this has always happened within 24 hours.

Feedback will be provided to all who would like it, and all submission will be rated. Please don't see a low rating as saying it's a bad design, rather that it doesn't quite resonate with me. Thank you for your understanding.

    I'm amazed at the high quality of entries. Thanks everyone. I'm going to have to start culling to keep it manageable. If I eliminate your entry I'm sorry, it's not that it's bad, it's that other entries speak to me more.

      Thank you for your submission. I really appreciate it. I like what you've done cutting the logo into the wood, its nice, however it doesn't quite have the classy or nostalgic feel I'm aiming for. Sorry.

      I really like this. Particularly 14. 12 is a little dark, but 14 is really nice. I love the pen being used in the logo as that is one of the main things I'll be making. And having the look of being cut into the wood is really lovely. Thank you.

      http://www.abegurvin.com/woodcuts2/apple-woodcut.jpg is the style of thing. I don't even know if it would work, but the style resonates with me.
      http://theshortbox.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/3/files/2010/11/1602_cover.jpg is another example from Marvel Comics who used the style for all the covers in this mini series.

    ty Cappie for the project & its not always for the remuneration which we all are looking for. You know sometimes designing or other stuff like this can be a hobby for others as well.

    Anyway just curious to know whether you have any special name for your desired logo [for your business] or Woodcraft Memories would be the line you choose for it please do mention it too.
