We have a two-man comedy stage show. It is a spoof/mock thriller movie, about a magician whose dog is kidnapped. He goes on a high-action adventure against Russian gangsters to retrieve his dog, utilising his skills of illusion and sleight of hand along the way. The show is a parody of action thriller movies like ‘Taken’.

Poster style:
- We would like the poster to look like a Hollywood movie poster for a thriller movie (either retro or modern).
- The poster should feature the two performers in some way, and a number of photos are attached for you to pick and choose from. The short, darker skinned actor is the lead hero, and the taller pale actor is the villain.
- While not strictly essential, we would like a dog to be incorporated into the design (any type of dog will do).
- Feel free to add any other elements that would make this feel like a thriller movie poster. This can be whatever you like. For example, a brooding cityscape background, or something more over-the-top featuring explosions, dark windowed cars, henchmen with guns, etc. We’re open to your ideas and creativity!

Text Details for inclusion:
- Title: Gone Girl
- Subtitle: From the minds of Dom and Dumber, The Sketch Comedy Magicians
- Movie tagline (optional, or even make up your own): They messed with the wrong magician.

Somewhere on the poster, we also need to capture the event details:
- Where: Studio 1, Northcote Town Hall
- When: 8.00pm, July 5th – 8th
- Details and tickets: www.domanddumber.com

Other things to note:
- We require the winning poster file to be provided in editable photoshop format, so that we can update the time and location details for each show run.
- Poster size/quality should be suitable for large A0 printing.
- We anticipate that there will be additional work for the winner, as we will need more graphic design assistance in the near future.

  Thanks for the heads-up, and I'll definitely keep that in mind for future competitions. For now, I'm happy to keep it sealed if that is the preference of most designers. As it's a competition, I don't want participants to be out of pocket by needing to seal it themselves, even if it is only 50p :-)
