I am creating a passion project: a story book for children. I need some illustrations for what I have written. The themes are quite dark, but the story is in short about a storm that is personified and the child's interaction to the storm. At first the small child is scared but then learns of their shared fears etc and then befriends the storm. It's underlying theme is about depression/ loneliness but in child friendly text and I wanted some unique and thoughtful images to illustrate. It is only short so not a lot of images are required but I just want to achieve the right mood. I have some examples of work I like but it’s really a combination of these looks. I am open to seeing other options for style anyway as I’ll only know once I see it. Words are attached. New to this site so hope that's how it works :-) The winner would get $60 but then i would arrange for the rest of the images to be done in the same style and work out a rate for the winner. I just want the right look for the project. More of a classic look with ink and water color, nothing too kiddie looking but still appealing to the little ones. Something with a bit of personality and a polished look.

  Thanks but I gave images that i liked, I am open to different styles if done well so I don't want to limit it to one particular style or artist. I've shown the line and mood of what I am after.

  It's just a straight out $60 but then I would book you to do all of the illustrations and work out a rate dependent on how many images and how much time you think it would take. Just looking for the right look for the project :-)
