Tóm tắt cuộc thi

Looking to either re-vamp our existing logotype or re-envision a brand new one.

Oceanworks Productions is owned by husband/wife team, Jim and Kathy Ocean, and produces concerts, festivals and concert series for colleges, non-profits and cities.

Ultimately, We will need both a badge and banner version on a black background, white background and transparent background.

The contest will run for 72 hours. And we'll need the final versions of the winning design by July 5th.

The existing logos are attached. (I'm looking to keep to the blue/black/grey/white color scheme for both new concepts and refinements of the existing design.)

For the refinement of the existing logo, I'm looking to modernize and clean it up, keeping it bold, but more elegant. I still like the idea of the music clef within the "O" (for Oceanworks) that appears a bit like a yin yang symbol; though a bass clef might lend itself to a more elegant "yin yang" than the treble clef. (The "tail" below the "O" seems a bit clunky. Or perhaps the entire treble clef could be inside the "O".)

For new logotype design submissions, I'm looking for something bold, yet elegant, that communicates we're a music business and incorporates our business initials (OWP or OP) as well as our business name.
