Project description

We are developing a advertising portal for real estate ads in Scandinavia. The web page will be mainly based on a detailed map or satellite picture where you can look up items for sale.

To get some ideas of what we are thinking of and require in way of functions please visit eTours webpage [login to view URL] and www.housingmap.com.. They have a very similar concept to what we have thought of.

The WebPages should be created in either asp or php with a login feature for customers to login and add and item for sale, pinpoint it on the map by either entering GPS coordinates or typing the address. Writing adress shall give GPS Coordinates, show position.

As Google Earth does for example..

The page should also have a feature of showing house up to be sold in a particular neighbourhood. This should be done by gathering price data from various real-estate pages with a automatic crawler. Mainly these sites are [login to view URL] and www.alltombostad.se.

Main task

Your main task is to find appropriate software and Maps. Please quote in your price total incl. maps and satellite images. You shall provide a hybrid view over scandinavia such as Google Earth.

Images and Maps shall be copyrighted for us to use in commercial application.

1. Find appropriate software for maps and create the WebPages

2. Develop program that crawl house ads in Sweden, Norway and Finland

3. Develop "motor" that add these ads found on the sites above to the maps above from the address.

IF it's not possible to locate house by address then make an interface to add GPS co-ordinates for each house. The house ads shall be placed on the map at the house/apartment that are being sold. Shall be automatic and coordinates shall be given from above.

The house ads shall include price and also link to the original AD.

4. Another color on the map shall show what price houses have been sold for. We will provide information in this way. - Adress and price - Again IF not possible to lock up coordinates we would like interface to read from textfile

co-ordinate and price as well as admin interface to enter price and coordinate.

For us to accept the project as completed Sweden Finland Norway Denmark shall be able to bee seen from earth Furthermort maps and "hybrid views" shall be available for all larger cities.

For example in Sweden - Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Norway - Oslo

Finland - Helsinki and Turku
