BCO (our client) need a website. We're looking for asp / sqlserver solution or php/mysql. Hosting not needed. Specification below BCO Website specification: Index* 3 sections, 1 image in each, 150 words per section. Header, subtext, hyperlink to other sections of website, Contacts* Name, Title, address (5 fields), telephone number ((+44 (0) European standard layout)) email address hyperlink, Map location sub page Form submission sub page name address comments email address (not compulsory) builds up mailing list in .xls format BCO* What is BCO: Header, 400 words max, 4 images, hyperlink to external site (not compulsory), hyperlink to contacts page Partners* Name, 40 words, image, hyperlink to external site, hyperlink to contacts page Black Country Knowledge* 200 words text, 2 pictures, hyperlink to external site, hyperlink to contacts page Research (database query section) - 2 search methods to be presented (as per [url removed, login to view]) Drop down list should feature all documents logged under keyword, to include Education / Training and Skills / Economy / Employment and Unemployment / Population / Ethnicity / Demographics / Environment / Crime / Deprivation / Health / Housing / ICT / Tourism / Investment / Transport / Social issues / Regeneration / Land issues. Client should be able to enter other fields as required Or Free text Search Searches using either of the above methods will reference any text field within the database. Database containing information has the following fields. Title - 40 characters text / Summary 80 characters text / Author 20 characters/ Key Contact - 20 characters / Name - 20 characters / Organisation 40 characters / E-mail / Data of publication - dd/mm/yy/ Geographical region 20 characters text (BC, Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, Wolverhampton, West Midlands)· Hyperlink to document Stock Images licensed computer'ish' imagery to be used will need to be supplied by developers ASP/SQL or php/mysql Server solution required All areas marked * to be updateable through standard bowser IE6 via password protected interface Statistical information regarding site useage to be available in an interpreted format Page size to be non-scrolling within 800x600 screen, except where unavoidable Font size to be no greater than size 10 for body text Menu page to appear on every page, including text search field of rest of site Framesets should not be used Hosting is likely to be available on a dedicated server, although the site should be developed at a different location and should not be easily viewable throughout it's development. Where established imagery ie logo's is to be used, it will be provided by BCO staff Copy will be provided by BCO staff. Where it is not available by an agreed date, dummy text should be used to illustrate page layout Structured development methodology to be used, pref PRINCE2. with milestones identified. Payment throughout to link to milestones being achieved and signed off.
