We are wanting a program to run in the background while we run Myob accounting software. When entering a sale, we want to click in the Item Number field in MYOB, and then awaken/activate that custom software by pressing a function button or key combination. We then want to use a barcode reader and scan a barcode on a product, have it reference an excel file or database and find a corresponding custom stock code, and enter that in the Item Number field. Open to suggestions of what platform is best suited to create this software. We first thought maybe WinAutomation, but there might be something more suited to this job.
