Analysis of a simple execuatable to see what it does

I have a .exe that I need to find out what it does. Its not too complicated. Its not malware but it does write files to around the system so running it in a VMimage makes sence. It is a windows .exe. Looking for someone who has expericence with reverse engineering C++ code and assembly with IDA Pro or Ollydbg or similar.
File may be using a malware packer but it is not malware.
Should be 1 day of work with the correct skillset.
