Reconfigure HTML calendar CSS/jQuery

I need some existing CSS and Javascript to be modified and simplified to suit my current business needs.
I'd like the calendar functionality at [login to view URL] to be used and modified.
1. Eliminate the use of the cookie functionality to "remember" which dates have been clicked
2. Eliminate the functionality that displays an image after OnClick
3. Instead of the code displaying an overlay of information, the code should go to a URL
4. The code should be resized from 882px to 540px wide yet be consistant with existing look and feel
5. The code should automatically display current month and be able to move from previous or next month without page refresh
6. The calendar "color boxes" rounded corners should look good with white background instead of existing black
