We are an outbound insurance sales call center. We work for an Insurer. We are required to call customers, make sales then capture these sales and export the data to the insurer daily.
We currently use a manual process. Our sales agents write on a paper application( standard funeral [login to view URL]) all the details required for the policy. This then gets sent to a QA dept where the applications are checked for missing information then recaptured into a MS SQL database. The data with all fields then is exported into a single dat file daily with a header and footer. The structure of the data on the dat file is as per attachment Layout_NEW_QJ575.xlsx.
Also there are values inserted for certain fields as per the attachment Data_Values.xlsx. These need validation.
We make about 20-30 policies per day. So these policies need to be sent daily to the insurer. The batch can be sent at least once daily.
What we need is a web based application form that caters for all the possible fields so that an agent can capture all the relevant details while speaking to the client. The sales agent then can save the form for later or if complete then send to QA.
QA will then need to open these applications and verify these polices. QA Then can either process policy(send to insurer- export) or rework the policy back to agent with comment.
All policies ready for export will be then sent at end of day- say 8pm daily in format .dat (sample attached). The insurer also sends a feedback file daily with any errors (error file attached). This needs to be imported back into system and sent to QA to fix.
