I am looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to build a dynamic e-commerce website from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website design - I bring a few ideas to the table, but greatly value the creative input from an expert.
- Website build - I am starting from scratch, so you will be responsible for the full build of the site.
- E-commerce integration - Crucial to this project is the integration of an e-commerce platform.
- Customer/Member area - The end user is going to sign up, create effectively a profile from some simple questions we would ask them (This is business profile and questions will be about certain policies they have in place etc). This will be an area that we can upload them purchased documentations and accreditation certificates that we assist them obtain. Obviously I will advise more information to the awarded developer(s).
Skills and Experience:
- Experienced in website layout and design.
- Nice, modern, super clean looking website, cutting edge some may say.
- Proven track record in building dynamic websites from scratch
- Extensive knowledge and experience in e-commerce integration
- Scaleable
While I don't have specific websites for inspiration, I trust your expertise to propose a design based on the project's needs. I am open to a collaborative approach to bring this vision into reality. The ideal partner for this project has an eye for responsive design that delivers a strong user experience and also understands the nuances of creating an e-commerce platform that converts.

But i don't believe this is a nice website, infact it looks dated, but similar as in services they offer obtaining accreditations for small to medium size construction companies.
Fonts and modern feel wise, we are going to be working with these accreditation companies; CHAS, SMAS, SafeContractor.
We quite like the look of SMAS. and their branding guidelines so something really modern like this.
BUT, we want our website to be top notch.
We have dedicated hosting already and we are a little bit techie also.
