Custom Font Character Design for Currency Symbol

We need someone to create a custom font for a character symbol to be used as a currency symbol like a Dollar Sign. We do not need the whole character map, just one single character, but in two formats: Bold and Regular.
The character must be clean and render well in various media and screens - mobile/desktop/web/print
