I am looking for the HTML code for a Daily Message of the Day...Let me explain... I have a Wix website. I am using the Lightbox feature to create a Pop Up window. I have button on my homepage that links to this Lightbox pop up window. The button say "Acting Quote of the Day". When the user clicks on the "Acting Quote of the Day" button, I want the Lightbox to open. So far, I know how to do all of this. But it's the content inside the Lightbox pop up that I am asking for help with. I have 365 unique quotes from famous acting teachers and famous actors. Every day, when the person clicks on the "Acting Quote of the Day" button, I want the daily quote to appear in the Lightbox pop up window. I want each day to have the next quote on the list. And I just want this list to be the same every year. So January 1st, 2020 will have the same message as January 1st, 2021 & 2021 & 2023 - forever, so I can reuse the same 365 quotes. I am looking for the HTML code to embed in an iFrame in the Wix website. I am looking for instructions on how to add the reference spreadsheet to the Wix website so the code can pull the quote from within the site. Please let me know if you have any questions. hello, if you already have the excel sheet with the quotes, we could implement some javascript function to parse the file and pick the quote for the day. Looking forward to working with you. Regards
I have an idea of using a json with key as date-month and value as the quote you want. when the user clicks the button for lightbox pop up, will get the date and month and access that json to get the quote.
