This is a CUSTOM job, so I'm looking for customized proposals, not canned ones which make it obvious you did not read my job post. I own a FREE site for short stories, which features nearly 15,000 stories written in English by writers of all ages from around the world. I get about 40,000 visitors a month. However, most of those visitors do not register and therefore do not participate. I've tried various promotions and SEO but I cannot seem to increase reader engagement and participation. I need help. I'm looking for a team of people, or several individuals, who enjoy reading stories and who will commit to registering (free) on my site and rating and commenting on the stories they read (very short comments okay, but hopefully readers will simply say what they thought about the story, whatever that is, in a way that will provide a benefit to the writer). I would especially like to focus on the stories that are being featured on the front page each day, week, and month, and also those stories which are pinned to the top of the 'Read Stories' pages. This will require an average of one half hour per day of time. I'm looking for bids per week.
Both readers and writers earn points for participation that they can spend on the site. One of the ways to spend points is to PIN your story. However, featured and pinned stories are not getting an adequate amount of 'attention' from readers to make the effort involved worth it. I want to increase the attention writers who are featured get from readers, so that writers will feel like 'stars' during the time their stories are being featured. I'm open to suggestions for ways to make this happen, and look forward to hearing what you can do to help. I am looking for affordable help that will benefit my site and the writers who have shared their stories on my site for the benefit of readers around the world.
