Android application - Location detect

The application needs to know where the phone is all the time and set a ringing profile depending on the position. For example when i'm in school i want the phone to be on silent, so when i am there i set the app to put the phone on silent at this location and every time i'll go at school the app will put the phone on silent automatically.
