We have a MySQL database and have APIs that provide our iOS and Android apps with the relevant information. The problem is that the API's are very slow. We cache the API's at set intervals (20 minutes) to help speed up the API response time.
We are looking for an expert to restructure the API's so that the API's receive the response when new information is available ( possibly sockets?).
One of our future goals is to provide users with Twitter-style comments, which would require API response updates quite frequently, but not at set intervals.
We are looking for an expert, who has experience with pusher or [login to view URL], and who can implement a solution with one of these frameworks services.
