We need to have a Wowza Media server set up to accomplish the following goals:
- Stream live media
-- Via our existing web-based flash player
-- In various bitrates
-- In various formats for compatibility with mobile devices
- Stream pre-packaged media
-- As above but from locally stored media in a pre-determined format (you propose recommended format for storage)
We will provide you a CentOS 6.5 system pre-installed with the latest version of Wowza and an ssh key for access from an IP or IP range you specify. Any additional software requirements are to be installed via a main-stream yum repository or other commercially available source. Deliverables are due no later than Noon EST 6 January 2014.
