Oscommerce quick product update

I'm looking for a service provider who can supply or make a script to update all the product descriptions quickly, something like the quick price updates contribution, but for the product description.
If you have a large number of products, it will take a long time to update them or make changes if you have to go through the oscommerce admin.
There are a few contributions available but they are not great and most rely on excel to manage the updates. I dont want to have to download files to make any changes.
This should be relitively easy for someone, since it basicaly involes connecting to the database and changing some fields.
I need to be able to modify the product name, description, price, weight & model, and have upto 500 products per page that can all be updated at the same time after the changes have been made.
