Import flat file to Remote MSSQL Databse

This application must import two local CSV-type files to remote Microsoft SQL Server tables and execute a Stored Procedure. I have been suggested to use VBS, however I'm open to suggestions.

Requirements:

1. Application must be able to run on a scheduled basis from a Microsoft Windows 2003 Server. No scheduling software is required.

2. Application must parse two local comma-delimited files with quoted text identifiers and file sizes over 9MB.

3. Parsed data must be inserted in to a remote Microsoft SQL Server truncated tables.

5. A stored procedure must be executed at the end of the process.

6. Database address, userid, and password must be changeable after programming is complete.

7. A log file is maintained for troubleshooting.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

1. Application Server is on a Virtual Private Server hosted with CFXHosting.com. All server functions are available. Server runs Windows 2003 Server, IIS, and ColdFusion MX 6.1.

2. SQL Server is in a shared hosting environment and most advanced features such as DTS package saving, BCP, etc. have been disabled with security. However a normal Insert statement will work as normal.
