Simple fixes required for Internet Explorer version of website, plus fading an automatic image slideshow

I require some simple fixes to one of my websites. The fixes should be done in a way that I can replicate them easily over a number of other identical websites that I have. I also require fading (with Javascript?) to an automatically changing image slideshow.
Here are my requirements in more detail:
[url removed, login to view] - This site displays properly in Firefox, but not in Internet Explorer (please compare it in both browsers). I need various simple fixes to the site including the smooth font rendering, the curved menus, the white dot beside Google Adsense to be taken away, the images on the Live Departure Board to load properly, the white box at the side of the ticket booking engine to be fixed, and the spacing throughout the site to be the same in Internet Explorer as it is in Firefox. Where there are curved corners on boxes, these, too, should be fixed so that there is no white or rough edges.
Text should also be in white, where it appears in black on (for example) Android. So you must reconfigure all text on the site so it is white (this should be very easy if you know what you're doing).
Basically the way the site looks in Firefox, I also want it to look like that in Internet Explorer.
I also need the ticket booking engine to be fixed in both browsers, so that whenever the "railcard" or "promotional code" boxes are ticked, the "buy train tickets" button does not disappear out of the bottom of the frame, but the frame extends, pushing all content in the column beneath it downward.
I also need the main header image to be altered so it is slightly taller, and there is fading (perhaps using Javascript? - not Flash) between the images I provide. I will provide you with the images and you will be required to fix them so that the slideshow fades smoothly between 3 images.
This project needs to be completed very quickly to a strict deadline. It must be completed within 3 days of starting.
