print-ready photo files using imagemagick

This is a repost. I had this up and the bid prices were all between 30-50. I want someone who wants work now and we get job done without excuses. Might be small job, but a good feedback goes a long way.

Any and all code should be documented. Clean, organized code is important to me so I only want devs who have same approach.

I have a fully functioning site that allows users to pull their photos from various online service to display them on one page. The User turns ON the services they use and their photos display via Oauth permissions. We store photos img links in our db are then stored in user photo table. If user removes photo from say (flickr) our db will also remove it.

Example: print ready file is attached. This is just a rough run to get an idea on how it will be sent to printer. Your goal is to get the print-ready file to look better than this but not by much. Photos sizes will be determined after we discuses.

When a user is logged in, I want them to be able to select drag 20 photos... into a hovering checkout car---- simple stuff w jquery.

I would like to allow users to be able to select 20 photos, organize them (maybe drag drop into cart, reorder etc. ) and then submit for print.

By Shipping Cart I mean something like this: [url removed, login to view]

We want the photo to print just as close as it can with killing the quality. Now, if an photo is 72DPI, we will need to juice it with a filter that takes the 72 DPI and makes it 300DPI because its for print. We might need a warning when photo is 'dropped' if the resolution is low for print quality and error for duplicate photo in cart.

The key for this project is rendering the photos into a print-ready file. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS WILL TAKE 10 HOURS TO COMPLETE IF YOU CAN WORK WITH IMAGEMAGICK. Print-Ready is a term we use which means the submitted print file meets the following criteria for print; before you send your document to your printer, make sure your file meets the following criteria:

IMAGEMAGICK SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THIS WITH EASE

**THE CHECKLIST** (some may not apply)

-Convert all RGB images into CMYK color.

-File is in proper format (PSD, EPS, AI, High-Resolution JPG, PDF, TIF).

-Check if final image has enough resolution (300 dpi minimum at 100% size including bleeds).

-Contains only high-resolution image data

-Has links to placed graphics and images

-Includes all fonts

-Check if all text pages have enough bleed (1/8″).

-Included are trim/crop marks, center marks, and page info.

-Includes paper size with indications for bleeds and page marking

-Does not require any additional modifications or tweaks before being sent to the printer

+Other Terms You May Not Be Familiar With:

-Bleed – Bleed is a printing term that refers to printing that goes beyond the edge of the sheet after trimming. The bleed is the part on the side of your document that gives the printer that small amount of space to move around paper and design inconsistencies.

DPI – Dots (or pixels) per Inch; Resolution that varies across media. For print, image files are optimized at 300 DPI. For the Web (GIF and JPEG file formats), files are optimized at 72 DPI, the number of pixels across one inch of most monitors.

Crop Marks – A set of horizontal and vertical lines which indicate where a photograph, illustration, or page should be eliminated or trimmed.

RGB – Red – Green – Blue: the three colors in the color scheme of an illustration on screen. This is not suitable for printing.

CMYK – The CMYK color model (process color, four color) is a subtractive color model, used in color printing, and is also used to describe the printing process itself. CMYK refers to the four inks used in some color printing: cyan, magenta, yellow, and key black. Suitable color mode for printing.
