Yahoo maps loading coordinates for points using XML file

We need for a programmer to modify examples provided at maps.yahoo.com.

The examples currenly load the data points (MARKERS) from coordinates coded in the javascript. We want to be able to load the coordinates from an XML file that would have the following format : (selection field, Longitude, latitude, Text information, URL)

Using radio buttons or combo boxes of the SELECTION FIELD, we want to show selected data points for each record that corresponds to SELECTION FIELD.

Each Selection FIELD should show a different MARKER color or ICON

We would want the MARKER to show TEXT INFORMATION field when the mouse rools over MARKER.

We would want the MARKER to link to URL field when we click on MARKER.

Here is an example of an application we would like to clone.

but using information in an XML files instead of a RSS feed
