We need a Magento Community expert with experience in making freight calculators WORK [eg: Product matrix - WebShopApp]!
• Using Product Matrix [if possible, as we have already made a CSV file]
• Or, suggest another extension to install.
Due to appalling support from WebShopapps, we need a Freelancer to help us get our freight calculator working with Product Matrix [or another extension if you can suggest a better one, as support for Product Matrix is APPALLING! I think I already said that.
Our location is Australia. We already have a freight extension from Temando, and we want to use Product Matrix as our first preference. But we need to make our own freight matrix to provide the most competitive solution to our customers. We have already made a CSV file for Product Matrix, and Product Matrix works with Temando for quote generation, but it fails on checkout when selected: "Invalid Shipping Method" being the error produced.
Why we need a self managed freight calculator:
1. We move big heavy items all around Australia, up to 300kg.
2. Australia is big, so even within the same postal code we can have different courier rates.
3. Having a self managed calculator lets us control how much each service is costing to the customer.
