Custom Edit Profile Page for PHPBB Forum Account

I have a custom built website that is designed around a PHPBB Forum user system. I would like to create an "edit profile" page in my custom site design that will allow users to edit the current profile settings in their user account and add/edit additional settings to their profile. You must also add some of these new features to our existing custom "view profile" page, so they can be displayed on users profiles.
The most difficult new features include:
- Country of origin (flag images need to be created and displayed).
- Statistics of a users gaming performance (kept in a separate database)
- Profile Image (ability to upload it, change it, remove it & displayed on their profile)
