We have a site currently developed in PHP Zend Framework that is e-commerce based. There are 2 issues we currently need addressed:
1) The website is using a UPS API to calculate shipping costs based on the weight and dimensions of the product that is entered by the website owner via their admin panel. The cost displayed on the website is displaying a cost much cheaper than what UPS is actually charging. I posted our customer's issue below and I tested this by checking the part they mentioned below and I went directly to [url removed, login to view] and chose the "Calculate time and cost" option and entered in the client's zip code and customer's zip code and shipping weight and dimensions. When I did this, the cost on the UPS site was very different than the website shipping values. Our website calculates ground, next day air and 2nd day air. We need help checking the api code on our website to make sure we are getting the same shipping values for ground, next day air and 2nd day air which are the shipping options we provide on our website.
2) The admin section where our client checks the status and details of an e-commerce order does not show them which shipping method the end user chooses when making a purchase. We need the admin section to show the shipping method when the client views the details of a particular order.
