This is an important project that needs to be finished in one day. My programmer had to leave town for an emergency and won't be able to finish the project. I own a special Point of Sale software that I have just sold to a restaurant. The restaurant currently has their own POS software. We are in the process of interfacing my software with the restaurants software via XML files. I already have a sample XML file from the restaurant and from my software (via my programmer). The next step was to create a Test Application to give to the restaurant to make sure that the two software programs were correctly interacting with eachother. The test application is to have a "dumbed down" version of my softwares database. My software uses SQL Server and was written in VB.NET. My software is unique in that the prices of the items change every few minutes. My software has 3 different applications. The first application is the main POS application where orders are entered and options are set. The second application is a "TV Display" program which offers a visual display of the item names and prices. The third application is an admin program which runs in the background and is used to synchfronize information between the main POS application and the TV Display. Those are the details: To recap, all I need is a test application to give to the restaurant to make sure that the information is being shared correctly. After that, I may need you to complete the entire project, which would involve sending my entire software program to the restaurant and making sure that the information was being shared by the two POS systems. ## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
