Hello, I am building a wordpress multisite and want to get a good framework in place. It will ultimately have over 600 small sites as part of the main site, each individual site will have its own home page ([login to view URL] or [login to view URL] - I'm open to discuss pro's and con's of each), its own events calendar, its own board for posting things, as well as a few other categories that are unique to that site. An administrator will have access to the smaller site alone, but my master administrator account should be able to access all of the sites. The rest of the articles and some featured stuff will remain constant throughout the main site.
I use Catalyst theme for all of my sites and want to stick with that because I understand it. I don't need any "hand holding", just need the basics set up and I can take it from there.
I currently have the 600+ sites in an excel sheet that we can import to build the pages but wanted to get an initial design/layout put together and test it for one site before installing and implementing it to all of the sites. I use [login to view URL] as my host and they do support the wordpress multisite.
This is for a volunteer non-profit and I am paying out of pocket to get this help, so any breaks you can give me would be much appreciated.
