PBX/VOIP System design consulting

We need to go VOIP for our many long distance phone calls.

We have a sales office and an administration office that do not have broadband connection to them. No DSL, No Cable.

We also need to have a local PBX to handle our growing phone needs. We have about 9 sales people in one building that are returning calls from all over the country and 7 administration people in another building that need to call out also. These buildings are about 100 feet apart. All offices are wired with local lan/cat5 and all have computers with XP Pro at their desks.

The tricky part is to do the VOIP. We can make a local call to a nearby city that has DSL service. We do have access to an office in that nearby city where we could install a PBX/VOIP system. Is there a way that we could call this PBX/VOIP in the nearby city and it would automatically transfer the call to the outgoing VOIP line? We would then dial the long distance number and the VOIP system would complete the call.

Conversely customers could call in thru the VOIP and the system would do a transparent transfer by making a local call to us at our remote office. (This way we could have local numbers in several of the major cities thru the VOIP system.)

One system that has been recommended is the one at Talkswitch. [[url removed, login to view]][1] (It may not work at all in this application.)

This bid is for producing a document of recommendations. This bid does not include the HW/SW or setting up the system. Multiple bids may be awarded.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
