Amazon SES and Laravel expert needed to fix small issues with bulk mail

I have a free site and rarely send out bulk email, so when I do I want it to be 'just right'. It isn't, so I'm looking for some fixes.
1. The 'unsubscribe' button apparently doesn't work for those who are not logged in. It needs to work for everyone whether logged in or not.
2. When I tried testing it myself I accidentally 'unsubscribed' myself from my own bulk mail, and I need to get RE-subscribed but don't know how.
3. The email templates are set up to automatically add extra spacing that I don't want and can't remove, and the text comes out gray rather than black.
4. Additionally, I'd like a new small group email list added to my choices that can be used for testing purposes whenever I need to test send a mail without sending it to everyone.
My site is built on laravel, and a previous coder set up the Amazon SES bulk email for me to use in my admin panel, but I don't personally know how to make these changes/improvements that I need.
