Stock Exchange Simulator for a Learning/ Competitive Environment
This simulator aims to educate high school students about the trade of securities & commodities.
Aimed to be used in a multi-user environent wherein each team has to designate themselves with a name, their academic institution & their contact details.
Each team starts off INR. 1 million in their portfolio which they may use to buy & short-sell shares and commodities.
The price movement of each security is pre-determined by the Admin. A news bulletin accompanies a change in the price of securities every 2 minutes, determining the uptrend or the downtrend
At the end of the trading session, all open positions are liquidated.
Admin Console
The Admin console controls and sets all the parameters necessary for a trading session, determining factors such as:
• Securities
• Their price movements
• Duration of trade
• News bulletins etc
The Admin console has a bird’s eye view of what is happening during a particular trading session & at the end of the trading session, it can download basic performance details of each team such as Net Profit/ Loss, Profit/ Loss for each security.
