I'm looking for a video editor to work on editing a series of videos for a children's news club.
Key Requirements:
- The video footage will be from a studio setting, and will need to be cut and replaced with cutaways at appropriate times. This is aimed at holding the attention of a young audience.
- There will be six school news programs in total, each averaging around ten minutes.
Specific Tasks:
- Add stills
- Fix Mistakes: Any errors or awkward moments should be replaced with suitable cutaways to maintain interest.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly for children's content.
- Strong understanding of pacing, engagement and storytelling in video production.
- Excellent attention to detail for spotting and correcting mistakes.
- Ability to work not only with cutting and splicing footage, but also to creatively use cutaways to maintain a young audience's interest.
