Historical Sports Odds Data Collection

We are collecting historical odds for a sports betting project and need data from October 2022 through February 2023. The final product is odds spreadsheets (CSV, Excel, or Numbers) for five different leagues for the relevant time period, gathering public betting data from the Action Network either manually or using tools such as BeautifulSoup or Selenium.

INSTRUCTIONS:
First, convert the date to the proper format. For example, "Sun Nov 13" -> "2022-11-13".
Each game on the Web site maps to a single row in the spreadsheet. The Away Team is listed first, then the Home Team underneath, with the Final Score next to each Team name. The relevant columns in the spreadsheet are: [away_team, away_score, home_team, home_score].
Ignore the OPEN column completely. You will be getting data from the BEST ODDS column only, and there are three types of data, as selected by the dropdown menu to the right of the league name. Note that the numbers in the BEST ODDS column change for each dropdown selection. The options are:
1. Spread: The relevant spreadsheet fields are: [away_point_spread, away_point_spread_line, home_point_spread, home_point_spread_line].
2. Moneyline: The relevant spreadsheet fields are: [away_money_line, home_money_line].
3. Total: The relevant spreadsheet fields are: [total_over, over_line, total_under, under_line].
If the BEST ODDS column is blank for that game, then ignore that game.
Here are the mappings from the Web site's table columns to the column names in the spreadsheet. There are 15 columns in total.
Column 01: "date" of game in YYYY-MM-DD format, for example, 2022-11-13
Column 02: "away_team" is the top team of a game
Column 03: "away_score" is the score next to the "away_team"
Column 04: Select Spread. "away_point_spread" is the top number in the BEST ODDS column for "away_team"
Column 05: "away_point_spread_line" is the small number underneath "away_point_spread" in the same box
Column 06: Select Moneyline. "away_money_line" is the number in the BEST ODDS column for "away_team"
Column 07: "home_team" is the bottom team of a game (underneath the "away_team")
Column 08: "home_score" is the score next to the "home_team"
Column 09: Select Spread. "home_point_spread" is the top number in the BEST ODDS column for "home_team"
Column 10: "home_point_spread_line" is the small number underneath "home_point_spread" in the same box
Column 11: Select Moneyline. "home_money_line" is the number in the BEST ODDS column for "home_team"
Column 12: Select Total. "total_over" is the number in the BEST ODDS column next to the "away_team"
Column 13: "over_line" is the small number underneath "total_over" in the same box
Column 14: "total_under" is the number in the BEST ODDS column next to the "home_team"
Column 15: "under_line" is the small number underneath "total_under" in the same box
