240474 Website & Small Shopping Cart

Note: Do not bid if you don't have relevant examples of work for the project proposed below:

I have a small business which currently sells 5 products. I need a website and shopping cart. (make sure to read down to the proposed 3 options)

I will need a landing page, which has customer feedback, striking high quality photos of healthy clean complexion women (this is a skin care products company).

We are interested in using this project as a way of developing a longer term relationship with the whoever we hire. We've got some other projects in mind (like designing a personal business card or another larger website).

I want the customer to have the ability to see shipping costs before entering a credit card.

I would like to able able to include adwords and other google optimization tools. SEO is highly needed.

I would like to stay as close as possible to W3C standards by using CSS and HTML as much as possible.

I am very open to utilizing a template for this project as long as you have the graphic design skills to make a custom header and custom navigation buttons.

I also want designs for icons to represent the 5 core products, (For example a ‘sun' icon for the sun protection product). So a graphic artist is needed not just a coder.

The logo is already designed. I have comparable websites I would like to emulate.

I am opposed to using a larger open source solution for the shopping cart, I have found many times that those solutions are overkill for what I need done. DO NOT bid if you propose to use OS Commerce, Zen Cart, or X-Cart. I want to stay away from those solutions.

I have thought of three different approaches for the shopping cart, I will review bids which propose any one of the three, WITH EXAMPLES.

Shopping Cart:

Option A: Using the WP e-commerce [url removed, login to view] plugin along a wordpress theme (customized by you) integrating paypal and google checkout

Option B: Using the Joomla with the VirtueMart shopping cart integrating paypay and google checkout

Option C : I have even considered just using google checkout and paypal buttons for each product, coupled with the [url removed, login to view] application.

I would like to have the ability to offer coupon codes or discounts as well.

I would like to be able to determine postage fees based on the weight of each product.

I would be selling in the USA only.

Lastly, to save time, I want to see examples of the work incorporating the technologies from Option A, Option B or Option C above, I will not consider any bids without examples. It's OK if those project did not use paypal or google checkout.
