Uber for trucks (the app needs to be written in Spanish and Portuguese) - 2 apps; 1 for customers and 1 for drivers; website; similar to [login to view URL]
1. Customer app
GPS location of me and nearby trucks;
Enter address manually (as well as point on map like in uber) and enter destination (also stops in between destination (e.g. We are going from point A to point C with a stop at point B to load/unload the truck)
Below the map you can choose the size and type of the car + you can select whether you need an extra person to load/unload the truck; type of shipment (e.g. electronics); approximate weight of shipment)
After we see the route of the trip and price range.
Pay with card/ (maybe cash); see the route and the price estimate once again for the confirmation + the car type and the number of the car + driver's name and his phone number
Time till the truck arrives; Alerts when your shipment arrives, is delivered, etc.
Real-time tracking and tracing of shipment
Rating system of drivers/trucks upon delivery of the shipment
Confirmation email/text with truck details(driver, phone number, truck number) and estimated price upon completing the order
+ possibility to adjust the route in the process of shipment (i.e. we are already on the way from point A to point B but the consumer decides to stop at point C on our way - necessary to be able to insert the new point C and see a new price estimate)
+ necessary to be able to see my profile - change credit card information, see previous shipments (distance and time - e.g. 121km, started at 16:03 finished at 19:23 and their prices)
A simple online dashboard to view and manage all of your freight shipping
Confirmation email/text message once the delivery is completed (once the driver presses complete button) with the distance travelled and amount paid
Possibility to make an order in advance (e.g. for tomorrow at 09:00 pick up location xxx - order will be shown to drivers that live close to location); if order is not accepted it will be shown to drivers the next day prior to order time (e.g. it will be available to close by drivers at 08:00)
If the destination is in the city center, the order will be only shown to the drivers marked that they have a special license to enter the city center)
2. Driver app
Seeing my gps location (map) and seeing the incoming orders (pick up location, destination location, estimated price; estimated distance; type of shipment) - being able to accept the order as long as you are close to the pick up point (approx radius 10km); if the order is not accepted then the radius increases by +5km every 2 minutes until the order is accepted. ONLY FOR THE SIMILAR CAR TYPES CHOSEN BY THE CUSTOMER (i.e. a driver of a huge truck that can lift up to 20 tonnes wont be see the order for 1.5 tonnes truck and vice versa; however there is a range that if the customer requests a 1.5 tonnes truck then a 3 tonnes truck can accept the order but the price estimate is used for a 1.5 tonnes truck (prices for 1.5 and 3 tonnes are different).
Upon loading the truck the driver can show how much the truck is loaded (a simple square representing the truck that fills with color as u swipe ur finger);
if the truck is less than 60% loaded then a driver can see smaller orders along the route and have an ability to accept them
Navigating to pick up location; from point A to B according; if the route is adjusted by the customer, the driver will see a notification; new route and price estimation will be shown
Suspend the driver from using the system for 24 hours if he accepts and then declines 2 orders
Driver's profile (Name; telephone number; home address; drivers rating; car type and car number; orders history (amount of money received and distance travelled, from which address to which address); Possibility to accept future orders(6am-11am) close to their home address
