Alanna M.

Alanna Malone is a writer and sustainable design enthusiast based in New York. She was previously a communications specialist at HOK, one of the largest architecture and engineering firms in the world. In this role, Alanna created content and delivered the firm's messages across a variety of platforms in alignment with business, marketing and communications goals. Before that, she was an editor at GreenSource Magazine and Architectural Record. In this role, Alanna traveled the world to investigate green buildings—from recycled tile manufacturing facilities in Spain to an energy efficient speed ice skating rink outside of Munich.
