Asmaul Husna worked as Publication Associate in the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading South Asian think tank, for more than two years. While working in the CPD, she’s rigorously engaged in editing and publishing books, journal articles, policy briefs and working papers. She is an editor, translator, and writer. For a few years, she worked as Sub-editor in the renowned daily newspaper, Daily Observer, of Bangladesh. She also taught English Literature in an English medium school, Academia, based in Dhaka. She studied English Language and Literature. As a passionate literature lover, she continued delving into her interest in writing poems and short stories. In 2014, she won the First-runner up prize for her poem in the poetry writing competition titled “Pursuit of Poetry,” organized by North South University, Bangladesh. She’s equally engaged with academic research and presented several research papers at national and international conferences. Many of her editorials, feature stories, book reviews, and travelogues are published in the daily newspapers of Bangladesh.
Her published book titled love, life & all that (2020), written by Rajub B. and Asmaul H., published from Barnes and Noble Press, New York. This book has been translated into various languages including French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
