Umbraco Web Developer

I am a web developer specialising in the Umbraco content management system. I have been working almost exclusively with Umbraco since 2012. I have 3 years experience working at a development agency in South Wales, where I was solely responsible for the front-end development of all sites, and back-end development for many of these. Since then I have been working freelance for website owners and other developers. When I am not working I strive to continue to expand my knowledge. Currently I am learning to make native mobile apps with PhoneGap. Please be aware, due to issues with verbal communication I am unable to discuss projects over Skype. I was responsible for the front-end development of all sites created, and much of the back-end development for many of the sites, running on either Umbraco or Wordpress. I was also responsible for the maintenance of many sites. During my time at Fairhill, I implemented the use of responsive design by default for every site, by utilising a custom made framework. This framework used the Liquid template engine and the LESS CSS pre-processor for rapid prototyping. It also included two custom made jQuery plugins, one to create off-canvas navigation, and the other to turn overflowing horizontal navigation into a dropdown and make them touch friendly.
