I am a 33-year-old experienced journalist and translator from Norway. I have a Bachelor of Journalism, from Cumbria Institute of Arts in England, and a Master in the Norse language. I am bilingual, with both Norwegian and English as my mother tongue, and I have both higher education and work experience within both languages. I have been translating from Norwegian to English, and vice versa both as a freelancer and from my time as a press officer. I have prior work experience as a journ​alist and as a press officer. I have experience both as a freelancer and from previous employment in the local newspaper Samningen in Norway. Recently I have been working mainly freelance and have written mostly in English about a variety of topics. As a former press officer for an environment organization, Miljøvernforbundet, I am adept at writing articles and press releases, updating social media networks about the latest news and writing newsletters.
